Description
Students will be furthered introduced to the wide range of specialties and careers that are available in healthcare. The primary focus is specialties that have been generally available to the Doctors Academy students as part of the summer experience before their senior year. This is a two part workshop series.
- Session 1 - Students will learn about Observership opportunities available through the DA summer experience.
- Session 2 - Students will learn to create a profile to introduce themselves to their mentor.
Objectives

Students will understand their role as a mentee during summer observership

Prepare for interview to share top three specialty interests and any barriers to participation in observership
