College Exploration

Description

Students will learn about the importance of goal planning and the value of goal setting for their current and future lives. Students will also learn about short and long term goals, and complete a SMART Goals Worksheet for their own personal development.

Objectives

1. Students will learn the differences between two-year and four-year colleges 

2. Students will learn the difference between public and private colleges 

3. Students will take a look at all that goes into choosing the right college for them  

4. Students will begin to explore different colleges

5. Students will complete an activity sheet documenting their findings
