Objectives

Pain Management

A Health Professions Workshop defining chronic pain and prevalence of chronic pain in the United States. Students will also learn statistics about pain management. Additionally they will explore the types of pain management physicians and their roles. Skills and techniques used by pain management physicians will also explored in this workshop. Education needed by two types of pain management physicians and their salaries will be shared. Lastly, pain management videos will be shared to observe different pain management physicians.

  1. Define chronic pain
