Description
The Freshman Transition Seminar – Your DA Journey covers a 3 part series of workshops for incoming freshmen that discusses student program guidelines and expectations, achieving success, college entrance requirements, and exploring college pathways. The series is intended to provide freshman with introductory tools they need to be a successful high school and Doctors Academy student, as well as provide a vision into their higher education journeys.
Objectives

Students will be covered on program guidelines and expectations for all four years

Students will be provided tools to aim high in school which can lead to success

A-G requirements will be reviewed and outlined to help students understand why they are important in high school and how colleges review A-G

Students will be introduced to continuing education pathways after High School

Students will participate in activities to grow their understanding of high school and college
