Objectives

Senior Seminar (4-part series) 

The Senior Seminar Series is a 4-part series meant to educate seniors for college transition. Topics include, breaking down financial aid letters, mental health resources, freshmen transition programs, learning how to stay connected and UCSF DA alumni support. 

  1. Students will learn how to properly evaluate financial aid award letters 

  2. Students will learn about common mental health issues that affect college students and gain coping skills to help them while in college  

  3. Gaining knowledge regarding freshmen transition programs and their benefits for first year college students   

  4. Learning to get connected through various programs to strengthen college transition 

  5. Increasing students networking skills through the Doctors Academy alumni program
