Professionalism

Description

This workshop will look at professional etiquette. The presentation looks at what professionalism is and why it is important. It explores the main areas of professionalism and demonstrates examples of what professionalism does and does not look like in the work place. 

Objectives

  1. Define what professionalism is and what it looks like 

  2. To understand the importance of professionalism and its role in the workplace; including tips to remember when in a professional environment  

  3. Analyze characteristics that employers cite as being unprofessional and unacceptable  

  4. Understanding and applying professional mannerisms to a virtual platform  

  5. Produce a presentation defining professionalism in order to solidify material covered and demonstrate comprehension
